The Mangemangeroa Reserve is described as an area of dramatic estuarine landscape at the edge of the Auckland urban area. The flora found in the Reserve represents a variety of podocarp and coastal forest not easily viewed elsewhere in suburban Auckland.
Well sign posted and maintained walks run along the estuary from Sandspit Road to Hayley Lane.
Mangemangeroa Reserve is located at 108 Somerville Road, Howick.
