Jointed fern

Arthropteris tenulla

Initially this fern frond can be mistaken for a leaf. It is not common in the reserve occurring in the more northerly section. It climbs, sending out fronds at relatively well spaced intervals. The fronds are deep green, smooth, with a point at the tip of each segment. The name jointed comes from the way each segment joins to the midrib.
